Carbohydrates are a controversial topic. Depending on who you listen to, they’re either vital to good health or they’re the root cause of all dietary evil.
The truth is somewhere in between. While they’re not truly necessary for good health (carbs are the one macronutrient our bodies can completely live without), the right kind of carbs can be a tasty part of a healthy diet.
