Fresh Cucumbers with Dilled Sour Cream

A good fit for nearly any meal!

Crunchy cucumbers meet silky-smooth sour cream and savory onions for a pleasing taste contrast in this tasty but low-cal dish. At only 80 calories per serving, it’s a good fit for nearly any meal. 

Fresh Cucumbers with Dilled Sour Cream

(serves 4)


  • 2 large cucumbers, peeled and sliced
  • 1 C onions, chopped
  • 1/3 C sour cream
  • 2 T lemon juice
  • ½ t salt
  • 1 T dill weed

To make:

Simply combine all ingredients in a medium bowl, mix well, and chill. Divide into 4 equal portions to serve.



This is not quite the same recipe as the one found in the DWD Blueprint recipe books. The recipes in the DWD recipe books have been “slimmed down” so that they’ll fit into a 700-calorie-per-day diet, and using this version while you’re on the DWD diet could push your calorie count far out of range.
